Yongliang Wang
Senior Platform Engineer — 15+ years of Golang, Kubernetes and multi-cloud infrastructure. Also the one person behind 23 shipped App Store products.
Most of my career has gone into the layer nobody sees: multi-cloud asset synchronisation, monitoring that holds up across 10,000+ nodes, delivery pipelines that turned months of provisioning into weeks. The rest has gone into shipping products end to end on my own — which is a fast way to learn what infrastructure decisions actually cost the people building on top of them.
What I'm looking for
Berlin · hybrid or remotePlatform / Cloud / DevOps
Where the last seven years went: multi-cloud asset synchronisation, monitoring and alerting across 10,000+ nodes, Infrastructure-as-Code delivery, and the Kubernetes and OpenStack estates underneath it all.
Backend Engineering (Go)
Golang is the primary language — gRPC services, Kafka pipelines, asynchronous task processing tuned for high-concurrency workloads, and the data layer that keeps them honest.
iOS / Apple Platforms
The other half of the story: 23 App Store products built solo, including on-device AI. Swift and Objective-C, SPM packaging of native C++ runtimes, and a release pipeline that runs without manual steps.
By the numbers
From high-traffic game backends in 2009 to multi-cloud security platforms — backend and infrastructure, continuously.
Monitoring and alerting infrastructure scaled across multi-cloud environments at Qi-Anxin.
Through asynchronous processing and queue optimisation — one of several throughput wins on the same platform.
Designed, built, localized, released and supported solo across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and Chrome.

CNAPP / CSPM / SkyMirror — unified cloud security platform
- Designed and built Golang backend services for multi-cloud asset synchronisation across AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud and private cloud environments.
- Integrated WAF, database auditing and bastion host products into a single cloud security platform.
- Built scalable monitoring, alerting and data aggregation services for Kubernetes, OpenStack and cloud infrastructure.
- Developed CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code workflows with Terraform and Ansible.
- Optimised asynchronous task processing and backend throughput for high-concurrency workloads.
Impact
- Cut alert processing latency by ~40% via asynchronous processing and queue optimisation.
- Reduced deployment and provisioning time from months to weeks through IaC and automated delivery.
- Scaled monitoring and alerting to support 10,000+ nodes across multi-cloud environments.

Open sourceA translation toolkit for Xcode String Catalogs. Takes a Localizable.xcstrings, fans the strings out across Google, DeepL, Baidu and OpenAI concurrently, and writes a merged catalogue back without destroying existing translations or format specifiers.
Localizing 23 apps by hand is not a strategy.
View on GitHub →A proxy server in front of OpenAI-compatible APIs: key management, provider routing, quota enforcement, and an admin interface so configuration is not a YAML file someone has to SSH in to edit.
One control point for every LLM call across the portfolio.
View on GitHub →A two-step App Store rating prompt and in-app feedback form, with a Cloudflare Worker collecting reports, screenshots and device context. Ships as an SPM package; the backend runs at the edge.
Replaced a mailto: link that collected nothing useful.
View on GitHub →Self-hosted Swift Package Manager distributions of ONNX Runtime and sherpa-onnx, packaged as xcframeworks and served from GitHub Releases so Xcode Cloud builds resolve reliably instead of depending on an upstream mirror.
On-device speech and vision models need a build system that does not flake.

The setup step that kept being rewritten in every project.
View on GitHub →The gin web framework wired to Uber's dig dependency-injection container, so handlers get their dependencies declared instead of imported from a global.
Testability, mostly.
View on GitHub →The product side
Outside the platform work I run MZSoft Studio — a 23-product portfolio spanning photo and media tools, productivity utilities, navigation instruments and developer tooling. On-device AI for photo restoration, colorization and speech transcription; Cloudflare Workers for the small amount of backend that exists; a release pipeline that takes a build from commit to App Store review without manual steps.
It is the closest thing to running a product engineering org that one person can do, and it is where the recent Swift, Go and edge-infrastructure work lives.
