Pixer is a photo viewer that happens to be a capable editor. Point it at a folder and the pictures are there — no import step, no library to build, no second copy of your photos kept somewhere else. The folder on your disk is the library.

Everything you do to a photo is non-destructive. Adjustments live in a small sidecar file beside the image, so the original stays byte-for-byte untouched until you deliberately choose File > Save and bake them in.

No account. No server. No analytics. The one and only time Pixer touches the network is to download an AI model you asked for.

Non-Destructive by Default

Most photo apps want to own your pictures before they will show them to you — import them, copy them, hide them inside a database. Pixer just opens the folder.
