All analysis, filtering, and preview rendering occurs locally within your browser.

3. Why Permissions Are Needed
The Extension requires certain Chrome permissions solely to perform its intended functionality:
activeTab
Used to access the current webpage only when the user activates the Extension, enabling media scanning.
Not used in the background.
tabs
Used to read basic metadata (e.g., URL) of the current tab.
Not used to collect browsing history.
downloads
Used only when the user chooses to download selected media assets.
The Extension does not auto-download or modify existing downloads.
storage
Used to store user settings such as language preferences.
Data is stored locally and never transmitted.
alarms
Used for internal scheduled tasks (e.g., batch download management).
Not used for analytics or tracking.
sidePanel
Used to display the Extension interface inside Chrome’s side panel.
content_scripts + <all_urls>
Required to scan webpages for media resources.

host_permissions

No browsing data or personal data is ever transmitted.
4. Data Sharing or Transmission
The Extension does not:
- Send data to the developer
- Send data to any third party
- Upload page content, URLs, or media files
- Share user behavior or analytics
- Use external tracking tools
All operations occur entirely inside your browser.
5. Remote Code Usage
The Extension does NOT use remote code.
- No external JavaScript is loaded
- No CDN-hosted scripts are executed
