Ringtone Maker Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Ringtone Maker (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s applicable App Store terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Unless we provide a separate custom end-user license agreement, the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the App:

App Purpose

Ringtone Maker helps you import, record, edit, organize, and export audio for ringtone and alert use. Features include importing audio from Files, extracting audio from a video you select in Photos, recording with the microphone, a built-in sound effects library, timeline editing with trimming, splitting, fades, volume and speed controls, ringtone export, and guided GarageBand, share sheet and Finder workflows for installing the result.

Your Content

You are responsible for the audio, video, recordings, project names, categories, and other content you import, create, edit, export, or share through the App.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use any content you import or create with the App. Do not use the App to infringe copyrights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights of others.

We do not claim ownership of your audio content. You retain your rights in content you create or import, subject to any third-party rights that may apply.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful, harmful, infringing, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
  • Import, create, export, or share content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
  • Attempt to bypass advertising, security, or technical restrictions in the App.
  • Reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the App except where allowed by law.
  • Use the App in a way that damages, disables, or interferes with the App, Apple services, or third-party services.

Advertising

Ringtone Maker is free to use and is supported by advertising. A short rewarded ad covers each export, and the exported ringtone is saved as soon as the ad finishes. Ads are served by Google AdMob and are subject to Google’s own terms and policies. Where required, the App presents a consent form before requesting ads, and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt where iOS requires it.

Ad availability depends on network conditions and ad inventory. When no ad is available, the export runs without one.

Feature Availability

Some features depend on device capability, iOS version, microphone permission, access to Photos and Files, GarageBand installation, or Apple services. We may change, add, remove, or limit features where needed for reliability, legal, business, or technical reasons.

Exported audio may require additional steps in GarageBand or in iOS Settings before it can be assigned as a ringtone. iOS does not allow a third-party app to set your ringtone directly, and we do not guarantee that every exported file will be accepted by every Apple app, device, operating system version, or third-party workflow.

By using the App, you also agree to the handling of information described in the Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

The App may interact with Apple services such as Photos, Files, the share sheet, and GarageBand workflows, and with Google AdMob for advertising. It also contacts our own rating and feedback service at rate.mzjpg.com when you use the rating prompt or the Feedback form, and Apple’s public iTunes lookup service to populate the “Our Apps” section in Settings.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

No Professional Advice

The App is a creative audio tool. It does not provide legal, licensing, copyright, or professional advice. You are responsible for confirming that your use of imported or exported content is lawful.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every file, or suitable for every use case.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost content, lost profits, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the App.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to features if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or where required by law or platform rules.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted at the Terms URL above with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
