CleanMaster Privacy Policy

Welcome to CleanMaster. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Local Processing and Privacy

CleanMaster is designed with your privacy as our highest priority. All scanning, analysis, and cleanup of your photos, videos, and contacts run entirely on your device. We do not upload, collect, or store your photos, videos, or contact data on our servers. Your content never leaves your iPhone.

2. Photo Library Access

CleanMaster requests access to your photo library to scan for duplicate photos, similar photos, screenshots, and large videos so you can review and delete them. When you choose to save a compressed video back to your library, the app requests permission to add that file to your photo library. All scanning and compression happen on-device — nothing is uploaded, and photo or video content is never transmitted to us or any third party.

3. Contacts Access

CleanMaster requests access to your contacts on this device to find and merge duplicate contacts. Contact data is processed entirely on-device to identify duplicates and is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party.

4. Face ID

CleanMaster uses Face ID (or your device passcode as a fallback) solely to lock and unlock your in-app Secret Vault. Face ID authentication is handled entirely by iOS; CleanMaster never accesses, stores, or receives your biometric data.

5. Background Processing

CleanMaster may run a limited background task to refresh storage and charging-related information so the app stays up to date when you open it. This background task does not transmit any data off your device.

6. Data Collection

CleanMaster does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the app. As documented in our App Privacy details on the App Store, we do not collect any data linked to you or used to track you. We do not use any analytics or tracking SDKs, and no photo, video, contact, or biometric data is ever collected by us.

7. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

If you choose to purchase a Premium subscription or a Lifetime plan, the transaction is securely processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on our official website.
